Michele Tolli
Michele Tolli is a 39-year resident of Roseland and has served 18 years on the Roseland Borough Council from 2006-2023. Michele is running for a 7th term this November 5th.
During her service on the council, Michele was Council Liaison to the Beautification Committee, Senior Citizen Transportation Committee, Municipal Youth Guidance Committee, Environmental Commission, Shared Services, Recreation and Camp Wyanokie. She has an extensive record of community volunteerism dating back to 1988 in Roseland. Michele is currently serving her 27th year as President of the Roseland Junior Woman’s Club, a non-profit service organization which sponsors children’s and adult’s events in Roseland and raises funds for local and national charities and organizations.
Michele was a Den Leader for Roseland Cub Scout Pack #1, a religious education teacher for Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, an Arts and Crafts Teacher for the Recreation Department and a member of the Noecker HSA. She has also been a member of the Roseland First Aid Squad Board of Directors, Mayor’s Advisory Board, Roseland Centennial Committee, Mayor’s Ball Committee, Recreation Committee, Municipal Youth Guidance Committee and Beautification Committee prior to serving on the Council. Maintaining reasonable taxes, upgrading Roseland’s parks, monitoring the boroughs infrastructure, providing safety for residents, adding new recreational programs for children and adults and pursuing clean water for residents are just a few of her priorities for keeping Roseland the “Gem of Essex County.”
Michele’s 45 years of experience in banking and insurance here in Roseland has kept her in touch with many residents on a daily basis answering residents’ questions on all borough matters. Her council experience, financial business background, extensive public relations experience as well as her ongoing community service will allow her to continue to make the best decisions for Roseland residents which will ensure the quality of life in our Borough.
Michele is married to her husband Al for 42 years. They have two sons, Matthew and Alfred Jr. (Alfie) who attended Noecker School and West Essex High School.
